If  your main goal is to find a good foundation match we highly suggest your first MilanMineral purchase be a 10pc.Sample Set. 1) Sometimes you may be lucky enough to easily choose the shade for you, more often times it may take a few tries.This applies to shopping in an actual department store and definitely when shopping online! Try to choose at least 3 samples in the same range in the event you need to blend to attain your perfect shade.We suggest you look at our chart,choose the shade closest to you complexion and choose the shade 1 step lighter and 1 shade darker in the event you need to blend. 2) When sampling mineral foundations, apply them wet and dry to choose which application method gives you the best look. Ladies if you find yourself needing more coverage from your mineral foundation apply wet. The wet method will provide you with more opaque coverage.There also is no need to purchase a seperate concealer! Apply your mineral foundation to problem areas wet for extra coverage.

3) Darker W.O.C - Often times we at MilanMinerals hear the complaint that they tried XYZ'S brand of mineral makeup and felt it made them look "ashy". We can't express enough how important it is for you to apply........and walk away! We know that in the world of traditional cosmetics your're used to instant gratification. You apply and either it is, or isn't your color. We need you to change your mind ladies! Mineral makeup invites you to a new way of approaching your makeup and we think you'll like......no LOVE IT!
Apply your mineral foundation and as stated above walk away! Give the mineral foundation time to warm to your natural body temperature.If after 10-15 minute of the foundation being on your face, the shade is not a match,then it's time to try a different shade. If you judge it by the initial application you could be missing out!
