Titanium Dioxide: The greatest covering and tinting power of any white pigment used cosmetics and toiletries.Occurs naturally in 3 different crystal forms.Used cheifly as a white pigment and opacifer.Permanently listed for general cosmetic coloring in 1973.
Mica: Any group of minerals that are found in crystallized,thinelastic sheets that can be easily seperated.They vary in color from pale green,brown,or black to colorless.Used in cosmetics to create a glow inmakeup.Non-toxic to skin Coloring permanently listed for cosmetic coloring in 1977.
Iron Oxides: These minerals are what add color to makeup. They are natural salts that have been oxidized in a water process.Permanently listed for use in cosmetics in 1977.
Ferric Ferrocyanide: This is an in organic pigment that blue tones to natural mineral pigments.Permanently listed for cosmetic use in 1978.
Zinc Oxide: It offers whitening power, coverage, adhesion, and UV protection.Zinc Oxide is a natural mineral.Zinc is said to have healing properties for problem skin.Permanently listed for use in cosmetics in 1977.
Kaolin Clay: This pure, white, natural clay offers adhesion to your cosmetic products. Kaolin clay also provides excellent shine control.A main ingredient in our Oil at Bay Primers.
Silica: It is an oil absorbent It improves slip (how the product feels going on)Because of their spherical shapeour silicasalso scatter light and blur the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
Carmine: Carmine is a natural dye which is made from the dried bodies of a female insect called the Cochineal (Coccus Cacti).Carmine has been an extremely popular color through the ages, for example, it was used by the Aztecs for dyeing and painting.In modern times, its main uses are to color food (such as juice, ice cream and yogurt) and to color cosmetics such as lipsticks and lip balms, rouges and eyeshadow. However, its one drawback is that it is obviously not a vegan option. But, being a dye, it is also very intense and a little should go a long way. it completely disappears. Carmine is sensitive to pH. FDA approved and permanently listed as safe for cosmetics and in food since 1977.

Allantoin: Has been classified by the FDA and an OTC topical analgesic.Allantoin is a skin protectant ,it also promotes healthy skin.
Magnesium Stearate: NF/FCC is a kosher, pharmaceutical grade of magnesium stearate that is derived from vegetable sources. It is used in cosmetics as an anti-caking agent, binding agent, dusting additive, emulsifying agent, gelling agent, thickening agent and in the suspension of pigments. Magnesium Stearate is a light-weight filler that helps increase adhesion.
Calcium Carbonate: absorbs moisture. So, it is often added to face powders to increase the ability of the makeup to absorb moisture.In cosmetics, Calcium Carbonate makes a great absorber in foundations, primers and finishing powders.
